Minimum Qualifications
Licenses and Certifications
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
Experience

Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in a work-related field (required)
  • Master's Degree Preferred

Experience Qualifications
  • Five (5) years of progressive responsibility and related experience in clinical operations and/or performance improvement in an ambulatory setting within a large health care system
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience related to health plan quality operations
  • Minimum of one (1) year in a supervisory or lead role
Highly Desired
HEDIS, COTIVITI and EPIC experience, data driven

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong in HEDIS Methodologies
  • Comprehensive hospital administration and business knowledge (organization structure, business functions, processes, procedures, goals, objectives, measures, metrics, internals self-assessment processes, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels and in situations requiring instructing, persuading, negotiating, conflict resolution, consulting and advising, as well as written communication.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with widely diverse groups, including individuals at all levels both within and outside the organization and gain their cooperation.
  • Knowledge of advanced quantitative skills and ability to evaluate and interpret data,summarize results and make recommendations.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the contracts with the health plan
  • Meeting the contractual obligations
  • Has a team of two quality consultants
  • Make sure the metrics are hit on the end of the year
  • Self-funded insurance plan
  • Ensure they hit specific targets within each health insurance group
  • Work closely with IT/ Operations dept,Cotiviti, EPIC (data system)
  • Ensures performance improvement
  • Works with analytics team, data driven
  • People management
  • Influence with operations
  • Present presentations to various insurance groups
