Job Summary


We are looking for a Technical Analyst - General Finance to configure, implement, maintain, and customize our ERP and integrated systems that store and process financial data. This position will be key to ensuring the finance systems are operating with no disruption and being a technical liaison between Finance and IT.


Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with Senior Business Leaders, Solution Architect, IT development teams along with Scrum Master to ensure functional requirements are captured.

  • Work to identify root cause and best fix of issues as they arise.

  • Develop a familiarity of the workings of APG business units to serve as the voice of the business customer to IT.

  • Perform day-to-day support and monitoring of our ERP and integrated systems.

  • Identify, document, report, and track system issues.

  • Diagnose problems and identify opportunities for process redesign and improvement.

  • Produce technical system requirements to support functional business requirements.

  • Perform analysis and recommend ways to improve system.

  • Ensure that technology is configured in a way that supports business objectives and meets user needs.

  • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests systems and integration tests during end-user reviews for modified and new processes, and post-implementation support.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments daily to maintain positive communication/interaction.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts: employees, functional consultants, and contractors who have varying levels of expertise.

  • Learn all modules of the software to the point of becoming an expert.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information technology, Science, Engineering, finance, cost accounting or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training and work-related experience.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in EPM & ERP (Infor cloudsuite preferred) and integrated systems analysis and administration.

  • Experience with integrated finance systems such as: OCR for AP Scanning, GRC, AR Automation and Tax system a plus.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.

  • Proven ability to learn quickly and apply new technologies in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in supporting EPM and Finance systems in a large enterprise environment

  • Experience in developing and maintaining financial reports and dashboards using EPM and Finance systems

  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
