Job Description

Xtrakare home care is seeking a compassionate caregiver and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. The caregiver or CNA will be responsible for providing personal care services to our clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Help clients with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Prepare and serve meals, following dietary guidelines and preferences
• Keep the client's living area clean and organized
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Provide companionship, friendship and emotional support
• Talk, listen, share experiences, play games/cards, read to client etc.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments, grocery store and errands
• Ensure service is delivered in accordance with Agency policies, procedures and industry standards

Qualifications & requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• 6 months experience as a CNA or caregiver in an Assisted Living or Nursing facility
• Car Insurance (Current)
• Safe and Reliable Personal Vehicle to transport Clients if necessary
• Open availability and reliability to work varying shifts if required to meet minimum hour requirement

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
