Summary

DAS Services is seeking cleared Acquisition Specialist who will perform a variety of contracting-related tasks from planning to closeout.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the Product Manager with full life cycle “cradle to grave” contracts support; from initial planning through execution and contract/agreement closeout.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on contracting strategies.
  • Develop contract documentation to include Statements of Work/Performance Work Statements (SOW/PWS), Market Research Reports, Acquisition Plans, Source Selection Plans, justifications for non-competitive actions (J&As), Request for Proposal/Request for Quotes (RFP/RFQ), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), and Determination and Finding (D&F).
  • Develop and prepare contract correspondence with respect to contract actions such as contract modifications and contracts letters.
  • Provide advisory support in full and open competition source selections and sole source negotiations.
  • Track and report status of contract actions throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
  • Facilitate document staffing to internal and external stakeholders and adjudicate comments to obtain concurrence and approval.
  • Coordinate, facilitate and/or support project events such as government reviews, conferences, and Industry Day events.
  • Travel Required: Up to 25%

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7 years of experience in Contracts/Acquisition within a DoD Program Office, Program Executive Officer’s office, or DoD Acquisition Command.
  • Knowledge of federal procurement regulations and policies.
  • Able to effectively coordinate and collaborate between the Program Office and Contracting Officer.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written with internal and external customers to include peers and Government leadership.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of personalities.
  • Able to manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with DoDI 5000 series Adaptive Acquisition Framework policies and documents.
  • Experience with Risk Management and IMS.
  • Experience supporting a program through a Milestone or other significant decision.
