Job Description

Saville, a mid-market accounting firm located in downtown Dallas, is looking to recruit a temporary to permanent Executive Assistant to join our team. This position requires high-volume administrative support to two tax partners, requiring multi-tasking with extreme confidentiality, attention to detail and the ability to foster positive working relationships. An ideal candidate is experienced in the professional services industry, preferably public accounting, and is a self-starter requiring minimal supervision who strives for continuous improvement and is able to maintain accuracy under pressure.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide ongoing, accurate and timely administrative assistance to two partners and share in general administrative duties
  • Act as initial contact with clients on routine matters and gather information as requested
  • Responsible for efficient and organized flow of work
  • Prepare time, travel, and expense reports, in addition to processing tax related reports
  • Maintain Partner work calendars, coordinate meetings, trainings, conference calls and luncheons
  • Manage client contact/distribution lists electronically
  • Cover front desk for receptionist breaks and mail duty, in rotation with other Administrative staff
  • Light rotational hospitality duties, in rotation with other Administrative staff

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 2-3 years’ experience working for a CPA Firm or other fast-paced professional service firm desired
  • Undergraduate degree recommended
  • Ability to learn new processes and systems, perform multiple tasks, manage heavy workload, and experience with standard computer systems required
  • Must be able to maintain full confidentiality at all time
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in and make contributions to a team environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required
  • Must be able to manage high volume workload, coordinate conflicting priorities, and work reliably within short timeframes
  • Must be flexible, self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team, be adept at learning new processes and systems, and possess problem solving skills
