Position Description

• Part-time early shifts, starting at 5am
• Shifts are available on Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, and Sat
• Exact number of hours per shift will vary depending on daily workload, but typically 2-4 hours/day.

Candidate must have great level of attention to detail, be flexible in accommodating changes in daily workload, and be alert at early morning hours.

Job Duties

• Open and organize packages of non-medical laboratory samples; Verify samples against customer records in tracking system and identify any discrepancies; Log in samples to tracking system
• Identify and help to resolve issues with customers, shipments, orders, and samples
• In coordination with lab staff, strategize daily sample organization to align with lab workflows
• Other administrative tasks as needed and assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, with a college degree completed or in progress
• Strong written and verbal communication, with exceptional skills in attention to detail, organization, time management, problem resolution, and team collaboration
• Proficiency in using digital spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
• Proof of being vaccinated against COVID-19 with primary vaccination series and bivalent booster

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Choose your own hours
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Louisville, KY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
