SLP ( Speech Language Pathologist ) - PRN Schedule

Alternative Home Health is seeking a passionate SLP ( Speech Language Pathologist ) to join our growing team. As an SLP , you would be able to work independently, be dependable, compassionate and have a desire to help others. The Speech Language Pathologist ( SLP ) will travel to patients' homes and be responsible for administering individualized patient care and perform duties accordance with physician orders. As an SLP you are under the direction and supervision of the Therapy Director.

SLP Responsibilities

• Treat patients by using therapeutic and self-care activities designed to improve function
• Monitor a patient's activities to make sure they are performing them correctly and to offer encouragement
• Contribute to meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care plans for patients
• Document patient’s weekly progress in appropriate records
• Maintain the office treatment areas, equipment, and supply inventory
• Instruct patients, their families and any other caregivers in skills and techniques of the patient's treatment program
• Maintain valid certification
