Alianza is seeking a full time Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with a focus on automation to join our technology team with responsibility for overall platform testing and quality. You will work with a small, highly efficient team in a professional environment. We are looking for a highly motivated and intelligent individual who can make an immediate positive impact while helping lead initiatives to automate everything.

DESCRIPTION:

• Work with a self-sufficient team of committed engineers who are responsible for specific business domains within the Alianza platform performing quality and testing
• Own quality and use that ownership to work with the team to ensure that complete and defect free software goes to production
• Work with the technical product manager to help define requirements and acceptance criteria for product features
• Write and maintain automated tests using OSS (open source software) and developed in house testing frameworks
• Work closely with development to assure that code is feature complete and has high quality by writing automated tests and/or performing manual testing
• Identify and triage bugs and work with support and development to prioritize and fix them
• Work with DevOps and Ops to help ensure environments are setup and working correctly
• Help build out our continuous integration and continuous delivery build pipelines

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE:

• 3+ years proven success in a QA or test automation role
• Passionate about quality, automation, and continuous delivery
• Experience with automation and testing frameworks
• Experience operating in linux/unix environments with basic knowledge of networking
• Knowledge of object oriented programming, design, and analysis

• 2+ years of experience with Java SE software development (experience in similar languages like C#, JavaScript, Python, etc. accepted)
• Experience with using Dependency Injection (DI) frameworks like Google Guice or Spring DI a plus
