VACANCY DESCRIPTION: High Point Christian School (HPCS) is seeking a Preschool Teacher to serve our Madison Campus for the remainder of the 2022-23 school year. The ideal candidate will prayerfully help students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christians to the praise and glory of God.

High Point Christian School was founded in 1975 as a ministry of what is now High Point Church, a non-denominational, evangelical fellowship serving the greater Madison area. In 2020 we welcomed students to our newest campus housed in the facilities of New Hope Evangelical Free Church to serve the town of Mount Horeb and the surrounding rural community. In the upcoming 2022-23 school year our Mount Horeb campus will begin operating under their new name: Mount Horeb Christian School! Our schools offer safe, caring and Christ-centered environments for grades 3K-8.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• The teacher shall be a mature, sincere Christ follower who feels called of God to the teaching profession.
• Must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Association of Christian School International (ACSI) teaching certification.

PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• ACSI Certified Teacher.
• State of Wisconsin certified Teacher.
• Three to five years classroom teaching experience, preferably pre-kindergarten.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Salary – $30,169.00-$40,068.00
  
• Position as Preschool Teacher is 1.0 FTE
