Pay Range: $ 20.76/hr - $ 24.40/hr (24 hr pay rate)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Paramedic is a licensed professional who provides direct patient care and transport in the prehospital setting, according to approved EMS protocols and under the direction of the Base Hospital Medical Control. This position reports to the Paramedic Supervisor.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis. Must be able to work effectively with peers, other departments, first responders and the public using good interpersonal skills, discretion and diplomacy.
